A Riot of Colour

The jacaranda trees are supposed to have been imported from the Andes. They do brighten up what is really just a fairly grubby mining town. And as I write, I can just hear the rumble of thunder; the first storm of this season. It's been dry as a bone for 5 months--yup, it's just started to rain. Wish you were here.
