All my family, friends and work colleagues are ok. Spare a thought for those who aren't so fortunate.

I posted my thoughts and prayers for all those Londoners in my LJ but did not in my blog.

I have watched some amazing news coverage and am in awe of how well the Brits pull together in a crisis. Watched an interview with an American, volunteer EMT, who was doing an internship in London. He indicated that the response time of all medical personal and police officals was amazing, organized and the best he had ever seen.; 3:18 pm
Blue said...: many thanks Jen. Mostly the Brits just muddle through, but occasionally they really get it together. Pity it often seems to be in the midst of tragedy.
However for the UK, this is not so desperately unusual, as it must have felt for yourselves on 9/11. There were many years of bombings in the 60's & 70's from the IRA and at times in Manchester for example, the were fairly regular bombings. The IRA didn't succeed in changing anything; these bastards won't either. That kind of violence simply has no effect in anythings but the shortest-run.; 12:30 am
